Creamy Tuscan Chicken

A rich and flavorful dish featuring tender chicken breasts in a creamy garlic Parmesan sauce with sun-dried tomatoes and spinach. Perfect for a comforting dinner!

Method

  1. Season both sides of the chicken breasts with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken and sear for 5-6 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F/74°C). Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Stir in the heavy cream and chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits from the skillet for extra flavor. Gradually whisk in Parmesan cheese until smooth and creamy.
  5. Stir in sun-dried tomatoes and spinach. Cook until the spinach is wilted, about 2-3 minutes. Sprinkle in crushed red pepper flakes, if desired.
  6. Return the cooked chicken breasts to the skillet, spooning the sauce over the top. Let simmer for 3-4 minutes to absorb the flavors.
  7. Serve immediately with pasta, mashed potatoes, or crusty bread to soak up the sauce.

Notes

For added richness, use half-and-half in place of heavy cream. Garnish with extra Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley for presentation.
